2. When orders ship

  • Order cutoff: orders placed before 6:00 AM Pacific time ship the next shipping day. Orders placed after 6:00 AM Pacific ship the day after that.
  • USPS Priority Mail ships Monday through Saturday. Delivery is typically 3 to 6 business days from the day you order, which is 1 day to ship plus 2 to 5 days in transit.
  • UPS 2 Day Air and UPS Next Day Air ship early in the week so the package arrives before the weekend. If you order late in the week, the package ships the next week.
  • We do not ship on Sundays or on US federal holidays. The product page shows the next ship day for your order.

Faster shipping methods shorten transit time only, not the time it takes to pack your order. Delivery dates shown are estimates, not promises.

3. Delays

Weather, carrier delays, holidays and peak season can slow delivery. We may hold a shipment for extreme heat or cold to protect your plants, and we will email you if we do.

4. Tracking

When your order ships, we email you a tracking number. If tracking shows delivered but you cannot find the package, check with neighbors and your household, then contact us within 7 days.

5. Address

Please enter a correct and complete address. We are not responsible for delays, losses or returns caused by a wrong address. If a package returns to us for this reason, we will contact you and can reship at your cost. To change an address, email hello@vitroculture.com right away. We can change it only if the order has not shipped.

6. Restrictions

Some plants may be limited or prohibited in certain states or by local rules. We may cancel or change an order that would break these rules, and we will refund you in full if we cancel.

24-Hour Live Arrival Guarantee

Your plants travel in sealed packaging, and we stand behind how they arrive. If a plant in your order arrives dead or badly damaged, tell us within 24 hours of delivery and we will make it right with a replacement or a refund.

How to make a claim

  1. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery. The clock starts when the carrier shows your package as delivered. Email hello@vitroculture.com with your order number.
  2. Send clear photos. Include the unopened package with the shipping label visible, and the affected plants in their original container.
  3. Keep the plants in their container until we reply, so we can see what happened.

Once we confirm the claim, we send a replacement of the affected plants or refund their price to your original payment method. We choose which, based on stock. This is one claim per affected item.

What is covered

Tissue culture plants in your order that arrive dead or badly damaged, at a United States address.

What is not covered

  • Claims made more than 24 hours after delivery.
  • Plants that have been opened, planted or transplanted. After that point we cannot know how they were handled.
  • Packages delayed or returned because the address was wrong or incomplete. You are responsible for the address you enter. If a package comes back to us for this reason, we will contact you and can reship at your cost.
  • Packages left outside for a long time after delivery, refused, or not picked up.
  • Normal transit marks, such as a few bent leaf tips or small broken leaves, when the plant itself is healthy.
  • Shipping charges, which are not refunded unless we made the error.
  • Free or promotional items, unless the order page says otherwise.

Good to know

  • We guarantee arrival, not growth. Results after planting depend on your tank, light, nutrients and care.
